Meet Baby Oliver

Oliver came into my Salem, OR photo studio for his Newborn Portrait Session and was an absolute doll! He slept for most of his 3 hour long session but I did manage to get a few awake photos and a quick grin which was a bonus! His parents asked for neutrals and blues/greens as a color palette. I always love a neutral cream/beige but I really loved the soft sage green as well. When you come into my studio for your session I try to have several options already pulled out for you to choose from, but you’re also welcome o look around the studio in case you see something you like better. I have plenty of options on hand!

Meet Baby Lydia

I was excited to see this family again after their maternity photo session a few months ago. We included several family photos along with two setups focused just on the newborn in my Salem studio. Newborn Mini Sessions can absolutely include family photos as one of the setups if that’s something you’re interested in. They can include the whole family like we did here, or just the siblings or parents. It’s really up to you!

Sophia Law School Acceptance!

When Sophia first contacted me about doing a super quick photo session to celebrate her law school acceptance (and of course her school choice!) I was delighted. This was such a fun idea and a great way to show off all the hard work she’s put into her education to get to the point where she received FIVE law school acceptance letters! And of course we had to get a photo of her in the University of Oregon Law shirt since that was her ultimate choice. Congratulations and good luck Sophia!

Meet Baby Eden

Eden came into the studio for a Mini Newborn Session recently and was a perfect baby model! Her parents requested pastel pink, lavender, and cream for colors which was a lot of fun to pull out since I have a lot of props in girly colors to choose from. It was fun to use one of the bonnets I knit, along with several headbands. I have a lot of headbands, hats, and wraps in the studio to choose from so there’s always plenty of choices!

Skye Senior Photos

I met with Skye at Bush Park for a Mini Senior Session since he’s planning on doing a school exchange to Africa this fall which is pretty cool! Since it’s still winter and too early for any spring foliage or flowers Bush Park was the best option for some greenery and the historic Bush House also makes an interesting backdrop. We were lucky to get some February sunshine for our session as well which was nice! Senior photos can be done at any time of the year for a variety of reasons. It’s never too late to contact me about having senior portraits taken!
