Fall Family Mini

I met this family for a last minute fall family mini session and got some beautiful images! I noticed the weather for the upcoming weekend was looking really good and I had some room in my schedule so I posted a few days ahead on Facebook that I had availability and I’m so glad they took me up on it! October in particular always gets so busy and my schedule is in constant flux due to the weather and last minute rescheduling due to illness. I do keep a wait list for last minute openings like this one, if you’re interested be sure to let me know.

Family photos aren’t just for families with small children…they’re for all families! Including ones with adult children. Mini Sessions are a great way to update your family photos since they get the job done quickly and easily. We happened to do the session in the peak of the fall color which made for a great backdrop.

Halloween Mini Sessions

I was able to do Halloween Mini Sessions in my Salem photo studio this year with a few modifications due to Covid. I staggered times so that only one family was in my studio at a time and it gave me some time in between to sanitize props in between. I also sent kids home with a mini pumpkin…usually the one they were holding! I love doing these every year and seeing all the kids in their costumes.

Zak’s Senior Session

I did Zak’s older brother’s senior photos a few years ago and while he wanted to use the same location, the photos came out looking a lot different. Not only was the weather less sunny, but we also walked a little further up the trail to this cool old barn structure. I really enjoy working with seniors for their photo sessions. It’s fun to hear about their favorite parts of their high school experience and their plans for the future.

I love photographing this family of five and it was great to see them again this year. It’s fun watching their boys grow every year and now they’ve even got a middle schooler! We walked down by the creek for a little different background and I’m really pleased with how these photos turned out. The neutral outfits they wore look great with the fall foliage and water in the background. Such a great spot for photos!
