Alex wanted photos downtown and with flowers so we started in some alleys in Salem before moving to Bush Park and ending with a golden sunset in the rose gardens. Timing really is everything when it comes to golden hour light, and I think we hit it just right with the roses! I love walking downtown alleys to find spots with great textures and colors. Sometimes it means moving a bit of trash or pulling some weeds but the results are always worth it. Bush Park has a lot of variety, and while I knew we wanted to use the rose gardens we started on the opposite side of the park and followed the sun to finish when the light was perfect in that spot. We wound up with tons of finished images from the rose garden, but it was so pretty I couldn’t narrow it down!
