Meet Baby Zane!

I did little Zane’s newborn session in his home which made it super easy for his parents. I brought my studio lighting, all the props, blankets, hat, etc that I used in the session and even a faux floor for some variety. Zane slept pretty well through the first half of his session through the prop setups but wasn’t super keen to be naked so he spent more time wrapped up and we got some awake photos which is never a bad thing! I really love the charcoal gray because it makes him really pop. I’ve learned that I like darker colors for newborns at times, it’s a refreshing change from pastels which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I have props in the whole rainbow of colors including the neutrals, and if I don’t have it and you request it I’ll do my best to locate something that will work. One of my hobbies is knitting so I often knit bonnets, wraps, or stuffers for props when I have a request for a certain color. I actually knit the charcoal blanket, the light gray bump blanket, the dark green bump blanket, and both the light gray and green hats.
