It felt so good to do a newborn session after a long hiatus due to the Covid pandemic! Little Ben was a perfect baby and super easy to photograph once he ate (and he ate a lOT!). We did the session in their home so that I can minimize the germs going in/out of my studio. After the session I brought everything home to wash/sanitize before I put it back in the studio. It’s a good thing I brought along my studio light because the natural light was a dark yellow thanks to the wildfire smoke. His mom didn’t have any preferences as far as colors or props go so I decided to bring some fall colors with rusty orange, green, and gray. I brought along several bonnets but wound up liking the photos without them the best since he has such a beautiful head of hair 🙂
