I finally got the chance to meet my one and only nephew when he was two months old! He lives 8 hours away so it wasn’t easy to get to see him but when I got the chance I made sure to pack my studio light and a few props to take along. He’s a pretty cute little guy if I do say so myself, and I’m excited to watch him grow! Two months is a challenging age to photograph since babies aren’t real easy to get into most newborn poses but also don’t quite have good enough head control for tummy time poses either. It was fun to be able to use the gray blanket I knit for him, it was my quarantine project this spring since it took a long while. We also got to use a really cool University of Idaho quilt handmade by a family friend along with a tiny matching mask…sign of the times!
