The Whole Family: Large Family Photographer Portland-Salem

I was thrilled when a family I’ve known since I was a young child reached out to me about taking their whole family’s portrait up in Portland. I grew up in church with their family and they were even my junior high youth group leaders at one point! I haven’t seen them in ages so it was fun to be reacquainted and meet all their grandkids.

We met at Western Seminary’s campus near Mt. Tabor which is a special spot for their family. It was pretty sunny that afternoon so we made use of what shade we could find and also took a few shots indoors in the beautiful older building. Large groups are always a challenge to photograph but they were really fun and I did my best to keep the process as fun as possible for the kids. I think we succeeded!
