I always try to arrive to a location a little early to scout out my favorite spots to check out the light etc. even with locations I’ve used multiple times just because you never know what might have changed. I’ve used Minto Brown Island Park many times over the years for portrait sessions and have never seen it as full of photographers as I did this evening! I counted at least five other photographers at work, crazy! We got lucky with some lovely golden hour light and also some good cloud cover for different looks with different light, a boon indeed! I’m super excited to meet their baby girl in December, already planning some fun holiday themed setups 🙂
