October 1: Uncle Sam waiting with Ethan in the back of the van for soccer practice to start.
October 2: We took Uncle Sam to the movies and then he shot some hoops with Big E in the lobby afterwards.
October 3: Goal! Ethan’s triumphant pose after scoring at his soccer game!
October 4: Red berries in the backyard.
October 5: Canning pears today, sink full of pears in water waiting to be peeled.
October 6: Finally got his Cub Scout uniform before his uniform inspection and award ceremony tonight. Got this photo with his fish and bear he carved out of soap for his carving badge.
October 7: Happy 8th Birthday Ethan! He requested the same homemade german chocolate cake that Daddy had only this time HE wanted the biggest piece!
October 8: Dexter hanging out on a kitchen chair.
October 9: Boy day! To celebrate his birthday I took Ethan and his best friend Zach to Get Air and the pool before we picked up cheese pizza and 2 liters of pop and playing video games all evening. They even built a couch fort before they fell asleep.
October 10: Grace found this wiggly worm while watching Ethan’s soccer game and kept it safe.

October 12: Grace’s bed with all her decorations.
October 13: Ethan working on some multiplication homework.
October 14: Location scouting with Ethan tonight and told him to look at me but it didn’t matter if he smiled. Doesn’t he look thrilled to help? The milkshake he got on the way home helped improve his mood 🙂
October 15: Soccer picture day! I didn’t pay for any but took some since the light was good and the kids were dressed. Plus I got this one of the two of them together!
October 16: Went to a Crunchy Mamas Make n Take event in Salem today with Sara which was a lot of fun. Loved this checkerboard with two colors of mini pumpkins as playing pieces.
October 17: Early morning soccer game, watched the sun rise from the parking lot! Disturbed a large flock of geese and got some cool photos of them flying in the air.
