Now that we’ve had a few nice days here and there it feels like spring really is right around the corner. I’m ready to get back outside and shoot so I located an awesome young local cherry orchard for Spring Mini Sessions next month and I’m really excited about it! The cherry trees should hopefully still be blooming the first week of April and will make a really pretty spring backdrop. This is a great time to get some pictures of your kids in their Easter finery or a family portrait with everyone in pastels and spring colors. Mini Sessions are also a great way to get a peek into what a portrait session with me is like and is an affordable option for families who are only looking for a few nice photos to update the family portrait on the wall.
The Spring Mini Sessions are 15 minutes long and include 3-5 digital images with a print release and suggestions for where to print. It may seem like 15 minutes isn’t a lot of time but you’d be surprised just how much we can do in that short time span! It’s also nice because even the least enthusiastic member of your family can be talked into 15 minutes in front of the camera. While Mini Sessions are great for a lot of families and situations they aren’t the best for families with babies under 3 months or with small children who are super shy and take a long time to warm up to strangers.
