I’m a native Oregonian and have lived in the Salem area since 2003. I am an avid Portland Timbers and Thorns fan, adore all pies (but especially strawberry rhubarb!), and enjoy knitting. I have been photographing families and babies since 2009 and have a wealth of experience working with kids of all ages and families of all shapes and sizes.

I’m a mom to two great kids and am very aware of the challenges that newborns and babies bring. I won’t be offended if you need to nurse your baby or if your sweet bundle of joy pees on me. I am happy to explore the park with your toddler and get down and dirty photographing them at their level.

I feel very blessed to capture my client’s family memories and strive to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible. I usually start sessions with some more formal poses and then gradually relax them as we go and everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. I have tricks up my sleeves to help small kids cooperate and some games we can play to get real smiles. I make sure we keep moving and keep kids engaged with what we're doing so that they don't become bored or lose focus. Every family and child is different so whatever your family needs to do for a successful portrait session is what we'll do!
