Alana’s birthday is super close to Christmas so we used the Christmas trees with a starry backdrop and the faux snow I had up from Holiday Mini Sessions for fun before switching to a wood backdrop for her One Year Milestone Photo Session. It’s always a lot of fun to include a little seasonal decor when appropriate! Milestone sessions are really perfect for studio sessions since they are around 20 minutes long which is about as long as most babies are willing to hang out in one spot. I try to switch things up pretty quickly so they don’t get bored by bringing out different props and things to keep them occupied and also for variety sake.
