Clay

I met Clay and his mom downtown Salem for the first half of his senior portrait session before we drove over to Bush Park. Since these two locations are so close to each other it was easy to include both in his senior session, along with several outfit changes. I like taking photos downtown in various alleyways and by buildings with interesting colors/textures. It’s always nice to get variety in a session and there’s nothing like a two block walk downtown to get tons of variety! I’ve got a few spots I love in Bush Park, but I always stop when I find pretty light as I’m walking between them. Bush Park is one of my favorite locations since it’s one I can use year-round and in both morning and evenings. Clay wasn’t sure what he wanted for his senior photos but his face really lit up when we were walking around the park. I was pretty thrilled to get a text from his mom later that evening saying Clay had a lot of fun which is a big compliment since I know most teen boys aren’t usually excited about photos. Making it a fun experience is a win for me!
