Meet Baby Ray

Baby Ray brought his family to my Salem, Oregon studio for his newborn session where we did family photos first before concentrating the rest of the portrait session on the baby. Mom was very interested in neutrals and greens which I have a lot of, probably because green is one of my favorite colors too! I always ask color preferences before sessions to have some options laid out in advance but clients are more than welcome to look around the studio in case they see anything they like better. I keep a lot of props on hand and have quite a few color options available, especially in the more popular colors and neutrals. I also have several different backdrops we can use for family photos in the studio and used one that I don’t often use for this session because it matched mom’s dress so well! I certainly have more options than the frequently used cream and grays.
