Summer Family in the Park

I met this family at a local park for family photos on a gorgeous sunny evening. We only spent about 45 minutes doing a full session but got more than enough photos in that time! I love doing photo sessions in the late summer since the weather is predictably warm/sunny and weeknights are an option since sunset times are fairly late. Full family sessions also give us the chance to get more than just the standard “look at the camera and smile” posed family photos. We also take the time to be a little silly and draw out personalities and explore family connections. Fall is always a super busy family photo season, but don’t count out late summer!
