The season of family photo sessions has started! The spring weather is lovely and with sunset fairly late this time of year it’s even easier to squeeze photo sessions into weeknights. Another bonus to weeknight photo sessions is that parks tend to be a little less busy. We met at Bush Park, one of my favorite spring photo locations, during the golden hour for a family photo session and enjoyed our leisurely stroll through the park. Full family sessions last an hour or longer and give me a lot of time to really get to know your family and photograph the real you. It’s even better with younger kids and toddlers because we get a little more time to play games and try to make the experience as fun as possible for them. I’ve photographed countless toddlers between the ages of 1-3 and I know it’s a difficult age range but they also make some of my favorite subjects. You just never know what they might do!
