Sol is a beautiful baby and was only 8 days old when she came into my studio for her newborn portrait session. She was super sleepy for most of her photo session which helped us get a lot of setups in an hour. Her mom said she preferred pinks and lavenders so I pulled out some pink and purple props for her to choose from and they turned out lovely! I always love using bonnets, especially the ones I knit myself. I knit two of the hats and both purple layers I used in these photos. The fuzzy angora sleepy cap is just about the cutest thing on her! When I use bonnets or hats I usually take some photos both with and without them for variety and so that parents have a choice for which they prefer later.
