It was lovely to meet these three ladies for a mini session to surprise dad with some photos, a gift I’m sure he’ll love! They brought along this adorable bunting which worked really well with the fun blue barn doors. Little sister wasn’t feeling quite as cooperative as big sister but we managed to get a few with her included. With kids that are slow to warm up or you know are usually camera shy it’s a good idea to let me know ahead of time so I’ll be prepared with some distractions and games we can play to help them loosen up. They may not always be a good fit for mini sessions, and booking a regular family session takes the pressure off everyone because time isn’t a factor. I have lots of tricks up my sleeves for the hard to photograph kids and with enough time and coaxing, even the hardest to photograph kid usually cooperates eventually!
