We did a Milestone Session for Noraleigh’s second birthday and had absolutely beautiful weather! It was warm enough to wear shorts and shorts sleeves which is amazing considering it snowed less than two weeks prior. We met downtown Salem by the capitol building and wandered near the capitol and a little of the Willamette University campus. The cherry blossoms weren’t blooming quite yet but the daffodils were and we found a few other flowers along the way.
Taking toddlers outdoors for photo sessions is much easier than trying to do their session in my studio. We were constantly on the move and looking at/doing things which kept her attention. I always get better results when we make photo sessions fun and less of a “stand here and smile” kind of situation. I love working with toddlers and all the energy they possess!
