These three sisters have been a joy to photograph for many years. In fact I’ve been photographing the youngest ever since she was born! We met for a slightly damp photo session at Bush Park in Salem to get a few Christmas card worthy photos and also for some birthday photos (ages 7, 10, and 11 respectively!). Since I’ve known these girls a long time how silly they can be, we were done within 30 minutes. They probably could have taken silly jumping photos for much longer but we ran out of time.
I’m always thrilled to take photos of older kids and tweens. Kids change so much as they grow and capturing the changes as they happen is so important! Missing teeth, braces, retainers, a brand new pair of glasses, a newly discovered sense of style…all sorts of milestones happen throughout childhood and adolescence and they are all worth documenting. 🙂
