Double the Blessings! Salem, Oregon Family Photographer

My friend Kara and her husband recently adopted three sweet kids from Uganda and I offered to do a family session for the newly formed family of 8.  I was lucky enough to be with the large group that welcomed them home at the Portland Airport last December to photograph their homecoming and the big kids meeting their three new siblings for the first time.  It was a great evening and I told Kara once the dust had settled and the weather was nice I would be thrilled to take their first “official” family portraits.  And man was it fun!

This family is a joy to photograph, the kids all have big personalities and I thoroughly enjoyed our hour together!  I had a really hard time narrowing down what photos to share because I love so many!
