Family Photos in the Park: Family Photographer Salem, Oregon

I met up with a fun family with two girls ages 1 and 9 for some family photos at the Arboretum in the Dallas City Park.  The Arboretum is a fabulous location for family photos because it has beautiful scenery and no playground equipment to distract the kids!  It’s not quite as busy as other parts of the park which makes it nice and quiet.  We mostly concentrated on getting some photos of the girls but snuck in a few family photos with mom and dad as well.

Summer and early fall is a great time for family portraits.  The weather is usually cooperative and the chances of having to reschedule due to rain is much smaller than it is later in the year!  I still have some availability in August and September if you are interested in squeezing your family photos in before the rain starts again.
